XRS1-800 Piezo Shutter

The XRS1-800 shutter uses two opposed piezoelectric actuators to block the beam. When energized, the actuators open to permit the beam to pass through. Options are available for ultra-high vacuum compatibility. For dynamic applications, a K-type thermocouple is incorporated to monitor temperature.

Options are available for ultra-high vacuum compatibility and the teeth are customizable with different beam blocking materials.
