DSM Achieves CMMC Level 2 C3PAO Certification

Dynamic Structures & Materials (DSM) is pleased to announce the achievement of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2, following a successful assessment conducted by an independent Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO). This certification marks a significant milestone for DSM and our defense and government customers.

CMMC Level 2 certification validates that DSM's information systems conform to the 110 security practices of NIST Special Publication 800-171 Revision 2 — the federal standard for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) within the defense industrial base. A C3PAO assessment, as opposed to self-attestation, represents the highest standard of compliance at this level and is increasingly required for DoD contracts involving sensitive information.

As the Department of Defense moves toward full enforcement of CMMC requirements, early certification positions DSM to continue supporting current programs and pursue new opportunities without disruption. For DSM's customers, this certification provides confidence that CUI shared across programs is protected by independently validated cybersecurity controls.
