DSM has developed a two-level driver for switching a capacitive load (i.e., a piezoelectric actuator) between 0V and a user-selectable upper voltage rail up to 300V. The driver provides the current required to produce extremely fast rise/fall times and to operate at high frequencies between the adjustable voltage rails.
